Commentary

00:02 (Play 1 - AR & needler) I got this play soon after I settled in for some serious combat with the set-up, and it included a bit where a Grunt tags a Hunter. Haven't had such an amusement in my passage horde battling before, so that was one good reason for using it in the movie.

02:56 (Play 2 - Rear attack, AR & needler) In this rear attack it's not a big surprise to me that one of the Elites kills the other. That sort of thing is pretty common. On my way to make a bold assault on the stack, I throw a plasma on the ground in an attempt to slow my pursuer, but he still gets dangerously close to me before being killed.

I almost get killed a few times in the passage, including when narrowly missing a Hunter whack coming from behind around 3:40. But fortunately I get through it all.

This play also introduces an unwanted feature of the set-up, namely that one of the Grunts is an external, in the ceiling of the spawning area. You'll get that sometimes, if spawning a good number of covies like I've been using in my passage horde battling. I don't usually bother with this Grunt as he's not a proper part of the horde, but on this occasion he was nearby so I thought I'd give him some attention.

04:54 (Play 3 - Fast AR play) For this last play I go in hard with my AR, seeking to set a much faster pace than in my first battle, which took up almost three minutes of the movie.

Closing remarks I only featured the AR and needler this movie, but I'm thinking of doing a further triple-play next, in which case I'll surely include some plasma weapon use.
