Apparently the Elites just had to horn in on the fun. They may regret it though!

(6:38) Level 3 ('The Truth and Reconciliation') on Heroic. I've already featured Hunters in passage horde battles, but I've now found that it's even possible to add some of the earlier covies, i.e. from the main phase of the boarding battle. In particular, you can add Elites! This movie features a set-up with two such Elites, as well as the Hunters. Getting the Elites was quite tricky, but there's actually the possibility of getting even more, and I may return to that later.

01:20 (Play 1 - Late death) Here's where we start the battling proper. In this play I'm a bit too careless at the start and suddenly find myself on my final health bar, thanks to the death-throe firing of a Jackal. Ultimately it's my downfall, enabling a Hunter to kill me with a single blast right at the end. Tragedy!

03:36 (Play 2 - Early death) A rather shorter battle this time, owing to a spot of plasma trouble. Oops!

03:54 (Play 3 - Early death) Possibly I should've just fired that AR instead of continuing the reload. I did still have bullets in it after all. Well, they can debate it in military college, after the funeral.

04:21 (Play 4 - Victory!) A victory at last! About time too.

Closing remarks I'll just mention that this set-up has a few shortcomings. Because of having Elites around during the set-up work after the boarding battle, I had to limit my weapon provision work, and thus, I don't have as many spare needlers as usual. Also, I didn't have proper time to get the Hunters near the door, and consequently there are times when one of them fails to turn up for the battling, or occasionally even both of them.

Incidentally, after creating this set-up, I later tried to get one with more than two Elites. Unfortunately though, a big problem is that when these sword guys chase you, they slice each other up so easily! Absolute bunch of clowns. After several tries it became too frustrating to continue, but I'll probably try again sometime, because I think it's just going to be a case of getting a bit lucky. Or maybe I can come up with new tactics that help.
