BCM646 - Grav-lift battle x2 with ten Marines

(8:06) Level 3 ('The Truth and Reconciliation') on Legendary. Concluding my 12-movie sequence showcasing the fun you can have in the grav-lift battle on Legendary with ten Marines, I start off with a dynamic play using sniper rifle and needler. Then for the second round it's a chaotic grav-lift hold-out with plasma weapons!

Released June 6th 2026, gameplay recorded May 25th & June 5th.

Commentary

00:02 (Sniping and needling, moving around a lot) This weapon combo is actually pretty nice, allowing you to both shoot from distance and also make aggressive charges with the needler. You'll see plenty of both here, as well as another example of sniping a dropship covie out of the ship, shortly after it appears. Actually it's a better example this time; my aiming is less rushed. The previous example was in BCM643 (second battle).

Seven Marines survive, but Johnson isn't among them. Seems like he got too close to one of the needle bangs when I was taking care of a Hunter. Same thing Stacker did two movies back! One of the Stackers that is.

04:08 (Grav-lift hold-out with plasma weapons) A whole lot of hectic fighting on the grav-lift here (with two Stackers no less), and the plasma combo is excellent for it. With most of the eight main waves, I take down the Elite pretty fast, managing to quickly stun him with a plasma ball on three occasions. Really enjoyed the plasma combo.

There's some amusing covie-on-covie business along the way, which you may've noticed. With wave 3 which arrives around 5:36, the Elite kills a Grunt with a wild whack. Same again with wave 8.

Closing remarks Just to mention something, in these twelve battle movies I was at pains to also show different and amusing ways of tackling the initial phase of the battle, i.e. the relatively easy business prior to the arrival of the dropship or the first wave. So hopefully you enjoyed those segments.

Expect more Legendary grav-lift battles in the future. It's been a lot of fun doing these.
