Just one last whack
During the final countdown, instead of pelting non-stop towards the escape point, why not get out and have a skirmish with some of the many enemies instead? Ok so you'll end up blown to smithereens along with everything else, but never mind, at least you'll be going out on a high. Along the way there are lots of grunty little fools who clearly need a good whacking. So I say: go over and remind them who's boss, one last time!
